Refused Appointment
II made an appointment on the Safeway Pharmacy website for 10am on the 14th of October. When I showed up, this employee yelled through the glass "NO VACCINATIONS BEFORE 11!"
He Lied
When I showed him my (printed) appointment confirmation, he yelled "I don't give a shit what you printed. No vaccinations before 11, that's our policy".Partial Video Clip Below
Summary
I made an appointment for a vaccination at 10am, through the website (as I've always done before). This appointment was confirmed in writing via email. Employee Antonio refused, became belligerent when I pointed out that my appointment was made THROUGH and BY Safeway.I told him I'd been there for a flu shot the previous week, with a 10am appointment and was given a shot, that I was actually seen BEFORE appointment time, as they were not busy when I arrived.He said "You're lying, nobody gets shots before 11am". When I showed him my (printed) appointment confirmation, he yelled "I don't give a shit what you printed. No vaccinations before 11, that's our policy".When I pulled out my phone and began recording, he toned down the language, but steadfastly refused to honor the appointment. I asked to speak with a manager, he falsely told me it would take days (said manager would not be available until following Sunday).He then threatened to call the police if I did not stop recording, which was a false, hollow threat. I asked him to (please) do so, as I would then be able to get the attention of the manager (which he had denied).
